First of all I would like to thank all of the organizers for your planning and execution that exceeded expectations. It was extremely well done, thanks to all of you.

I returned to Sri Lanka after twenty-seven years and I found a Sri Lanka that was incomparable to my memories of the country during my childhood. The willingness to help from various levels of government officials, gave me a sense of welcoming upon return.

It was a pleasure meeting and being with all of you on this mission. Though I met a number of you for the first time, it was like being with old friends. I hope to continue and maintain connections with all of you for a long time to come. I was quite impressed at everyone's contributions during each meeting, the professionalism was astounding. It was an incredible experience that was overall enjoyable yet productive.

What a trip!. Personally, it was an eye opener for me and many thanks to Stan and Shan for pushing me to make the trip. As everyone mentioned, the trip was planned and executed flawlessly. Hats off to Chair Sugumar, Co-Chairs Kula & Stan… and the one and only Elango. Appreciate all the time and effort. It was a fun group to be with enjoyed the time together. I would like to thank each of members of the team to make the experience wonderful. In short time, I have made a few good friends.

Professionally, I have made great contacts in Sri Lanka and will be very beneficial for my future business endeavours. Again, Thank you for the Executive committee and all team members. I look forward to future trips!.

Even though I came to know some of the team members for the first time the mission atmosphere made it feel like I had known everyone for years. You also kept all us on the toes from 4 am to 10 pm without getting bored or tired. I also think every active members of the mission did their roll well. Hats off to you and other contributors! I was given the wonderful opportunity to organize this Convention, and I am grateful to the Chair and co-Chairs for taking a leap of faith with me. During this delegation, I was able to meet several government officials as well as private-sector personnel and these connections greatly expanded my professional network.

Honestly, I was astounded by the vision and will the organizers had, especially the Chair Mr. Ganesan Sugumar, Co-Chairs Stan Muthulingam and Kula Sellathurai, and was overwhelmed particularly by the organizing and accomplishing capacity Mr. Elanko Ratnasabapathey demonstrated. As Mr. Kim noted about Elanko "he knows virtually everyone in Sri Lanka".

I specifically thank each and every member of the team for the cooperation you rendered; the team spirit. Personally, the trip tremendously helped me by opening my way to many things. As per my observations in the real estate market, Sri Lanka reminds me of Toronto real estate market 7 years ago. Today, the Provincial and municipal governments here are debating on imposing a property tax to deter foreign investors while Sri Lanka is cutting taxes for foreign investors and encouraging them to invest.

We all witnessed the Megapolis presentation which reiterates the number of infrastructure and real estate projects over the next 10 years and Sri Lanka's vision to become the next Singapore. if carefully chosen, we can ride the real estate wave over the next 5 years and make good returns any where in Sri Lanka.
